To Bo Pelini:
A Gator Bowl trophy and a 9-4 record to top off his first year at Nebraska
Tom Osborne:
At least one more Husker football national championship before he retires as the A.D.
Bob Devaney:
A life-size bronze statue of "The Bobfather" displayed on the east side of the Stadium.
The Husker football team:
A near perfect performance in the Gator Bowl
John Cook:
One more year with Jordan Larson and a rematch with Penn State in next year's volleyball Final Four
The City of Omaha and the Qwest Arena:
To become the permanent home for the women's volleyball Final Four
The Husker Elvises
A sponsor so they can perform at each Husker home game
Marlon Lucky:
A good performance in the Gator Bowl and a chance to play on Sundays
Shawn Watson:
A quarterback for 2009 who will make us forget about Joe Ganz
Joe Ganz:
A career in the NFL or CFL and a coaching career in college football. PS. I was kidding about the forget you part.
John Papuchis:
That Ndamukong Suh stays for his senior season
Carl Pelini:
A defense in '09 that finishes in the Top Ten in turnover ratio and in the Top 15 in total defense
