RECORD SETTER: In 1985, Roger Craig became the first Husker to score in a Super Bowl — and in that game he set single-game SB records for TDs (3) and points (18). Both records have since been tied by Jerry Rice (twice), Ricky Watters and Terrell Davis.

REPEAT CONTENDERS: Mick Tingelhoff has the most SB appearances (4) among Huskers but never played on the winning team. Roger Craig has played on more winning teams (3) than any other Husker.

NU VS. NU: According to play-by-play logs, the only time a Husker has tackled a Husker in the Super Bowl was in 1990, when Marc Munford had tackles against Roger Craig and Tom Rathman. Jim Skow recovered a Craig fumble in the 1989 game. Defensive stats for all former Huskers here.
